Mayari the Moon HOODIE - SOLD OUT

Mayari is the Tagalog deity of the Moon. Mayari is the Goddess of Combat, War, Revolution, Hunt, Weaponry, Beauty, Strength, Moon and Night.

The story goes, when the supreme deity, Bathala, went into a deep sleep. Mayari, his daughter, approached Apolaki, his son, and proposed they ruled over the Earth together as equals. Apolaki wanted to rule on his own which lead to the two fighting each other in a divine duel. The fight only ended when he took out Mayari's eye. Appalled by his actions, he apologized and accepted her proposal. Apolaki rules the day, and Mayari rules the night when the light is dimmer because of Mayari's lost eye.
